A thriving habitat for a variety of flora and fauna. The abundance of migratory birds and butterflies makes it a bird-watcher’s paradise and a scenic wonderland for nature-inspired photoshoots. Be sure to check out the Alligator lake and also keep an eye out for the deer that live all over the park! As a local I really enjoy frequenting this park on personal beach days as it has parking, restrooms and a ton of beachfront spots to setup for an afternoon of waves & sun!
I also LOVE suggesting this state park for natural outdoor portraits – as there are beautiful beachscapes, fewer beachgoers and no hotels or condos directly in the background!

You’re sure to catch glimpses of the local wildlife – I think the birds might be my personal favorite. I’ve also seen snakes, rabbits, deer & gators in the park, so be careful!
